Very quiet manor. The reason behind the 3 stars is one there is NO RESTAURANT ON THE GROUNDS. YOU have to drive elsewhere to find food. TWO, no entertainment at all! NO SPA OR POOL. Also doesn't have a hotel feel. I literally felt as if I was staying in someone's house not in a hotel. The Mansion is super quiet and you can hear any little noise. The room however was gorgeous but the interior designer needs to be fired. Who ever did the rooms didn't match the history of it. Joann is a great innkeeper and very attentive. The bathroom definitely need to be UPDATED. THE HOT WATER TOOK ABOUT AN HOUR JUST TO MAKE AN APPEARANCE. I am not even joking! I wish someone would take this place over and put some real love into the place. This place has the potential of being a 5 star hotel. The breakfast was delicious. Also parking is somewhat far from the Mansion and to top it off SUPER DARK. You need a flashlight just to walk to your car at night. They do need to improve lighting there.
Beautiful scenary during spring and summer. There are many jazz concerts held here on the grounds. Great for family nights and should be like $5 to gain entrance. Great place for wedding and engagement photos. The grounds are well kept and there is a place closeby called greenwood lake to take the kids swimming
Exhibitionists this place is for you! There were no curtains on any of the windows. Even in the bathroom! Who does that? If you want privacy bring your own pushpins to hang up blankets for privacy. I always come prepared for situations like this. Hot water and water pressure were a definite issue. They have fixed the heating and cooling issues, though. At least in the room we were in. Manor was beautiful! The grounds were amazing! The staff was very friendly! Breakfast was great! Put the fan on high for background noice. A beautiful place.

Went here for a wedding and the place was gorgeous. We didn't stay overnight so I can't comment on that but the mansion and garden were great.
